The noodle is deep fried to a lovely crispy texture. Then chicken, prawn, fresh local mushroom, black fungus, chinese lettuce, carrots, young corn and squid are fried up together and put as a sauce over the noodles. Despite each ingredient requiring different cooking times, the meat is done just right - not too dry, not too tough - and the vegetables retain their flavour - just nicely done. Tasty crunchy pieces of noodle mingle with different soft and firm pieces of meat and vegetable - I enjoyed every mouthful of this meal.
Normally lunch is a simple small snack. But on this day I had a guest and so we went to Makanan Sedap at the recommendation of another friend. Just take a look at the fare they served! The crispy fried noodle crackles as your mouth closes on it. Yummy! Then the portion of seafood and vegetables poured on top is done just right - not over nor undercooked. The ingredients taste fresh and the soup is complimentary. A simple meal of generous portions at an easy-to-get-to location. Parking is easy because there is an underground carpark. When it rained towards the end of the meal, we didnt get wet.....!
