John Wong ate Roast Pork Noodle

Finally i've tasted the 'kon lou' mee here with roast pork. I would say duck is a better combination with the noodles, but overall the dish is really good. The kon lou mee is not too dry, and the flavor is not too strong that it covers the taste of the meat. The roast pork itself is almost perfect, crispy and the meat is really tender, with the perfect distribution of fats.

TS Lim ate Roast Pork Rice

Not bad at all. The meat is nicely layered too and skin pretty crispy. But the sauce ain't that suitable for roast pork and the price is just scary

John Wong ate Roast Pork Rice

I've finally found one of the best siew yuk in KK, and its near my house. I just dun understand why its so pricey and they even TAX their customers! :( The Roast pork here is just like the one in Hong Kong Recipe, really crispy skin and perfect interleaved layers of fat/meat. Its just not as consistent.
Eat in for the better experience! Oh and the rice here.. really sucks... might wanna try the dry noodles (kon lou mee). And dont tapau the mee, tastes really soggy.

John Wong ate Duck Thigh

Now i understand why this place is famous even though its super expensive and there's tax as well!
If you come here, you have to know how to order your food. Taking the duck thigh would give you lots of meat and its really tender. Roasted to perfection, I guess it has to be worth the price. Eating in would give u a better experience because they give u extra sauce to pour on your rice. Only complaint, the rice really sucks big time.

John Wong ate duck mee

I dont really think it tastes that nice. The kon lau mee was quite ordinary and the duck though its quite tender, dont really have much flavor. Wouldn't say that this duck mee is fantastic, and at the price I'm paying for it (include 5% gov tax), its so not worth it...

On the good side, they do give you quite a lot of duck....
