apple crumble

Having tasted the real way apple crumble should be when I was in England, I was initially skeptical that I would get a close taste. The menu offered Apple crumble with whipped cream, but was changed to vanilla ice cream, much to my delight. The crumble did not disappoint. And although they did not the granny smith's apple nor the bramley's, the apple used was nonetheless tangy enough to bring that familiar taste. Would I go back again? I think so! This time I might ask them for custard!
