Wow, only 3 pcs of prawns for 3 people. But wait! its tiger prawns. Alright thats pretty cool =) Never really ate buttered tiger prawns before and its really good.

Crispy Skin Duck

Really tender meat with skin fried to perfection. Complemented with a little sweet sour plum sauce at the bottom. Great stuff

Gourmet Beef Pie

This is like one of my favourite pies ever. Unfortunately, the Dome in 1Borneo spoil it all for me. Tastes weird, smells really bad (like paint to me :| ) Never had it taste like that before, I wonder what these ppl in KK do man :(

Shark Fin Soup

What's there to complain bout sharks fin soup? :P Its all good but I'm used to eating really thick sharks fin soup, so this one tastes like it needs just a bit more kick! But at the price u're paying, not possible lah =)

Gourmet Chicken and Mushroom Pie

Dome does serve one of the best pies around! But, 1Borneo is adding lots of things to my ban list. This chicken pie is pretty good, but is still lacking compared to KL's dome .. I wonder why they cant make the same one as KL ... I wonder

Mixed Grill German Sausages

Its my first time here at Gunter's and i have to say, the decor is pretty nice & homey. I didn't know what to order, so they recommended me something off the menu, Mixed Grill. It was careless of me not to ask for the price first, and surely it came off extraordinarily high. The dish itself though, whoa, no regrets as I get 10 sausages and 2 pcs of pork belly to top it off. Compared to the RM30 standard sausage dish, this tops it all. Fully satisfied with an empty wallet :( Beware though, u might not want to eat sausages for the next month or so.

Oh and I only liked half the sausages, chicken is too commercial tasting to me, pork is cool, and the black pepper one, izzit lamb? tastes wierd (but not bad)

Fried Calamari

This is quite interesting, really strong herb taste in the flour used to coat the calamari. The calamari is really soft and squishy though, and small compared to the flour coating. Different.. period

Baked Fish in Gardern Herbs

The description sounds good, but unfortunately I was gravely corrected by an ugly looking baked fish, slightly charred, and almost flavorless. If the fish was so fantastic I would have forgiven it. Served with the same sauce on the fish and chips, bland and flavorless

Fish & Chips

Lunch at The Manhattan Fish Market 1Borneo   RM 19.90

I dont know what to say, it looked like the fish was slightly undercooked (looked a bit like sushi) and really didnt taste very good. I was expecting much more when Manhattan Fish Market opened here in KK but I guess i was gravely mistaken. The garlic butter sauce was like greenish in colour but had not much flavor. Overall i'm pretty disappointed
