Ostrich Teriyaki Sandwich
- Currently 4.5/5 Stars.
Having both lunch and dinner at the same place, the presentation of the food never ceases to amaze me. Never really had ostrich on toast before, it was understandably a savory experience. Cuts of ostrich meat grilled and served with a strong sour sauce which nicely masks the smell of the ostrich meat while complementing its flavor. And topped with a perfect sunny side up, it does bring a bit of joy to the dish. The fries are awesome as they are sprinkled with with a little bit of chilli powder. Now could i just ask for a more tender and larger cut of ostrich and maybe a salad to go with it?

Fish and Chips
- Currently 4.0/5 Stars.
An appealing presentation was not what I expected from something as ordinary as fish and chips but it turned out to be a nice surprise. I love the fries as it was lightly seasoned with salt and chili powder. The fish was fresh and the beer batter is something I really appreciate as here in KK, a lot of places use breadcrumbs and it ruins the fish. I would like the batter to be a little crispier though and if they served it with tartar sauce mixed with chopped pickled vegetables it would be perfect. The cafe stressed that they don't use dory fish which is awesome but I don't think sole fish is the right fit as well.

Pan Seared Sole Fish
- Currently 4.0/5 Stars.
This dish was something fresh and surprising as it holds true to a very aussie/nz style and flavor. Lightly cooked in butter and garnished with herbs, the original taste of the fish is maintained while trying to complement it without overpowering amounts of butter. Served with a side of salad with an in-house vinaigrette topping, this is not your run of the mill coleslaw or thousand island salad you get with most restaurants. I'm biased towards the local flavor though, so I would say that the fish is a little dry, and it gets a little boring after awhile. It would be great if I had some lemon butter sauce on the side to complement it after the first few bites as my tongue gets used to the flavor.

Ramadan Buffet
- Currently 4.0/5 Stars.
Usually, I cringe at the mention of hotel buffets as they provide a huge variety at mediocre quality. Hyatt's buffet has always been a pleasant surprise though, and this time its no different. Being more focused on a malay cuisine this time, I enjoyed their nasi briyani accompanied with oxtail asam pedas, daging masak hitam, ayam masak kurma, lamb masala and the works. The western cuisine section was even more incredible with an awesome roast beef, succulent roast lamb and burgers. There's also some chinese cuisine, indian food, and satay for a malaysian touch but I decided to skip that as it looks pretty ordinary to me. Ince you're done with the savory, comes the desserts which took 30% of the buffet real estate. Don't miss the chocolate fondue fountain.

Grilled Lamb Cutlets
- Currently 4.0/5 Stars.
I was pleasantly surprised to be served 3 beautifully grilled lamb cutlets glazed with rosemary brown sauce. The meat was cooked just right so it is tender and juicy which makes it a premium choice over a lamb shoulder. Served with a hearty amount of boiled broccoli and button mushrooms with a side of mushroom ragout (in carbonara sauce), it adds variety in flavor and richness to boring vegetables. The fries were slightly overdone though and personally i would prefer mash potato as stated in the menu. IMHO, a side of a vinegar based fresh salad and mash potato with brown sauce would complement the dish perfectly but I think the chef wanted to infuse a local flavor to the dish. The mushroom ragout was a stroke of genius though as it gives the dish an unique signature, so much that I'm looking forward to taste it again. Just wished it was slightly cheaper
Conclusion : A savory and balanced dish that satisfies a healthy appetite and the craving for some red meat.

A really delicious stir-fried glass noodle. Uses a lot of sesame oil and with a balanced portion of mushrooms and vegetables. I would say that this is one of the best dishes here compared to the rest

Bulgogi
- Currently 4.0/5 Stars.
Savory beef barbecued on a hot place then doused in some clear sweet soup like sauce. Its interesting that this place serves the bulgolgi with glass noodles which you can enjoy with that sweet juices of beef that flows down from the bbq. The beef is pretty good quality but i expected the sauce to be sweeter. Also expected the beef to be strongly marinated but i guess this way you can taste the beef without being masked by marinade

Pretty interesting mix of si ham, taufu pok, sotong, and cubes of blood. I personally prefer KL / KK style curry mee though.

Char Kuey Teow
- Currently 2.0/5 Stars.
Hmmm i think this would be one of the bad char kuey teow's i've tasted in Penang (yes Penang has bad food too!) but maybe it has its merits of being the most unique one as well. The kuey teow is pretty wet with a very chilli sauce taste. Comes with huge prawns and "si ham"

Double Swiss Mushroom Burger
- Currently 3.5/5 Stars.
My favorite burger has become too expensive for me to eat. Love the melted cheese topped with generous amount of button mushroom. This must be the best burger in BK. So unfortunate its not as great as it used to be ( perfect burger, best fries, and coca cola...) its like almost the perfect combination until the dreaded quality drop
