One of the few authentic must-order dishes in Lil' Italy. I've been ordering this everytime I visit the restaurant.

The Baked Sandwich is actually a combination of lean meat, cabbage, onion, lettuce and a special seasoning sauce all crammed between 2 hard crust sesame biscuits.

At the first bite, you'll notice, aside from the crunchy biscuit, the soft feel of the cold lean meat along with the blast of flavors from the vegetables and the cold sauce. In short, it's like chewing on a bowl of salad with some sesame biscuits thrown in for fun =)

The sandwich comes in 6 slices, enough for 3 persons even. My personal fave for the cold lean meat is salmon, but if you're not too crazy about salmon, you can also order the sandwich with cold turkey ham or chicken meat.
