Fragrant rice with spices with small lamb cutlets. Its not the best nasi biryani i've tasted but the whole package makes it all worth it. It comes with appetizers, some curry sauces and the best part, the lamb is done really nicely (sweet and juicy, not too tough). Only regret is that the lamb has a lot of bones. The rice is pretty fragrant but it doesn't have enough of the spices to make you think of India when you eat it. Another plus is that we were given a huge basket of papadum to eat with our meal (my favorite)

The dish was quite tasty although the portion was really little for the RM6 I was paying. I suppose I wouldn't frequent this place unless I was loaded in cash so I could eat my fill. Just a 2.5 out of 5 rating for this one. (What can I say? Need to drink lotsa water to be full)

Kind of surprised to find this cafe in Karamunsing. The meat was a bit on the little side but the rice was darn good. Kind of expensive for the amount they give you. Still recommended to try if you like Nasi Biryani.

Hmmm looks like this place got some quality control problems. Today the amount of lamb I got was way less than the last time I ate there.. The rice is still good but as usual, not enough to fill me..

At least today the boss was nice enough to give me free veggies to add to my dish :)
Oh and.. yes its expensive :|

Dont be deceived by the look of this dish. The lamb is actually all underneath the rice, lots and lots of lamb.. :P Good portions but i wish they gave a lil more rice. Even though the nasi biryani is not as aromatic as you expect, but its has a complete mix of spices that gives it a edge over most of the ones i've eaten around here. And the lamb curry blends very well with rice, giving you a real flavor of the spices of india.

Wish they would heat up the rice as well.. not just the lamb :)
