The Diamond Restaurant been around more than 30 years, still around but not sure for how long. The waiters and waitress are quite senior as well. The used to be very famous dish is the Pork Rib King (Pai Kuat Wong). I felt this was the best in the entire Malaysia, in all my searchings (back in the 80s & 90s era). Standard has dropped since, I guess the main chef is no longer making this himself. Some things are good to keep the way it is. Certain traditional dish are no longer prepared here, which is very good like the Fried Crab Stick.

Supertanker gain a bit of fame and publicity in the early years, partly because they opened next to Diamond for a short period before moving to Bundusan area. If you have been to Diamond, the restaurant relatively has not change much for the pass 30 years.
